Are you Ready??

So you decide to just tune into MTV or TRACE to just check out this song that's playing and before long you watch all the songs on the show. What do you think God is thinking about you as you watch those music videos? What testimony are you holding up?What happens if God comes when the chair you are sited in gets comfortable? 

Just in case you forgot God will come like a thief in the night Mathew 24:42-44,                            "⁴² “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. ⁴³ But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. ⁴⁴ So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him".You ought to be ready.There must be a distinction between you and the people in the club dancing and listening to the same music. Let our light shine even when we are alone cause God is watching and so are the sinners......

Friendly warning!

This warning is based on John 18: 1-18, verse 18 is the main verse which reads, “It was cold, and the servants and officials stood around a fire they had made to keep warm. Peter also was standing with them, warming himself”. This was just after Jesus was arrested and Peter had just denied Jesus for the first time. It’s important that you take this warning seriously and keep it in your mind as long as possible because you might end up in a situation similar to that of peter.

Peter must be an example for us. Many times we think we are strong enough to withstand temptation and that by ‘Just’ standing(Getting advice) with non-Christian friends and  ‘just’ listening to Non- Christian music(the sensual kind) because it has a nice beat or cool cars in it we won’t fall. When we do that we are just like Peter who innocently stood with the enemies of Christ and ended up denying our saviour  As we go out to do what we do let’s not forget that we should not be yoked with unbelievers lest we end up compromising our faith and have a bad testimony. Philippians 3:18(NIV), “For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.” We see that there are enemies of the cross who we should clearly avoid AND the most important text 1 Corinthians 10:12 NIV “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!”

I think This i the problem  that most young people have today. If something fails try a different approach. For example if you fail your exams because you played a lot of XBox games reduce on the games and focus on school because if you don’t HISTORY WILL REPEAT ITSELF.
